Getting To Know A Team
There's a reason why they are
on top.
It’s the way they treat each other, on and off
the field.
The way they balance
all the crazy fun things that they do from working as hard as they can.
I’ve never seen anyone
trying to embarrass a teammate while they work their plays and polishing
their system. They encouraged them to work hard.
I've never seen anyone
not giving a teammate the credit that they deserve.
They are true to each
other. A true team.
The Mixed National
team is composed of primarily players from the Mixed National Champions, Sunken
Pleasure with a few add-ons from Iligan, Dumaguete, and Bukidnon.
I can't deny that the SP culture and lifestyle
are rubbing into the import players.
There’s a reason why a
lot in the community looked up to them.
They are not perfect,
they know that. But that makes them a perfect team to represent the country. They know their mistakes and limitations, and they work hard every day to
prevent those mistakes and imperfections from happening during the biggest
games of their lives.
My two weekends in Manila felt like a blur
because of them.
During the boot camp weekends, it felt like
work, but it also felt like you were having one of the best relaxing weekends
you'll ever have.
They are some of the
craziest people you’ll ever meet in the ultimate community, but they are also
one of the truest individuals you’ll ever call as friends.
They are a true team.
They are a true family.
It was truly an honor to spend two weekends with
Pilipinas Ultimate Mixed National Team.
I just wanted to say
thank you for the opportunity to get to know you all.
Boot camp’s over… Time
to do some real work!
See you in a couple of days.
